The Nevis Mango Festival Returns For Its 9th Year

The Nevis Tourism Authority is delighted to announce the return of The Nevis Mango Festival. The festival which was launched in 2014, will take place from June 30th to July 2nd with its core purpose being to celebrate the most beloved fruit.
Nevis – known affectionately as Queen of the Caribbean, is home to over 44 varieties of Mango and so it is most fitting that such a festival take place on the Island.

Since its inception in 2014, the Nevis Mango Festival has grown to become one of the most anticipated events in Nevis’s calendar of activities and each year the curation of offerings continues to expand in the best possible ways.

Below is this years official schedule of events:

Friday June 30th (1- 10pm)
Activation Day!
Official launch at Dew Drops Restaurant
10am – 12 Noon
Opening ceremony
Chefs Demo and Masterclass

Followed by…
The Friday Mango Lime
1 to 6pm
Hosted by The Nevis Agriculture Dept
Indian Castle Fruit Orchard

Mango tasting
Mango ‘treasure’ hunt
Mango eating competition
Mixologist competition
Mango inspired food and drinks (for sale)
Local artisans
Music

7pm onwards
The Mango Festival Bar Crawl
Pinneys Beach
Participating bars invite you to sample their specially created Mango cocktails!

Saturday, July 1st
An Easy Breezy Mango Saturday
Our Saturday experiences are a little bit more laid back, but definitely big on feel good vibes.

12pm onwards
The Taste of Nevis Food Tour
An opportunity to head off the beaten track and discover some of our hidden gems, our ‘Taste Of Nevis’
food tour is a must for those of you who crave something a little different.
All you have to do is pre – register at our Information Centre (Nevis Tourism Authority building) where you will then be given a map of the restaurants and instructions on how to join in the fun.

7pm
Supper Club at Mount Nevis – hosted by our visiting Chef, Tayo Ola and head Chef at Mt Nevis, Chef Liam
An evening of good food and good conversation with a menu specifically created for our festival.

Sunday, July 2nd (1-8pm)
For The Love of Mangoes at the Malcolm Guishard Recreational Park

Enjoy a full day of Mango inspired food tastings, chefs competition, wellness experiences, panel discussions, art workshops, shopping and all things Mango on the final and largest day of our festival.
Music, Moko Jumbies and much more entertainment awaits!
